Combining his experience as privacy counsel for two (2) multibillion-dollar healthcare companies with his time as an investigator with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, John Haskell is an experienced data privacy and security attorney who brings a wealth of knowledge to serving his clients.

With this experience, John’s practice focuses on working with clients to build their privacy programs and providing strategic guidance to organizations to ensure they meet their regulatory obligations while minimizing legal risk. In addition to building privacy programs, John also works with clients on transactional issues, product and service development, and responding to regulatory inquiries.

In addition to his practice, John routinely speaks on data privacy and security topics, including presenting at the annual HIPAA Summit. John also- currently holds two (2) certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals: Certified Information Privacy Professional, United States; and Certified Information Privacy Technologist.
